Digital Ed Transformation

This text outlines UNESCO’s Six Pillars for the Digital Transformation of Education, a 2024 framework designed to guide education systems in integrating technology purposefully and sustainably. Developed by the Digital Transformation Collaborative, it promotes a holistic, systems-led approach grounded in clear purpose, priorities, and principles. At its core are six pillars—Coordination and Leadership, Connectivity and Infrastructure, Cost and Sustainability, Capacity and Culture, Content and Solutions, and Data and Evidence. The framework supports countries and education leaders to plan, self-assess, and align their efforts, ensuring digital transformation drives equity, quality, and inclusivity in learning.
